Data Protection Statement
We at Henkel understand your need to maintain your privacy when searching for a job. Henkel is committed to protecting your privacy. We will use the information you submit to us only for the purposes as explained in terms of agreement as stated below.
Henkel collects and processes personally identifiable information from users when you apply for a job or an internship at the Henkel group from anywhere in the world. Your personal information is not used for any other purpose than informing you about the Henkel group as an employer or about employment opportunities, to administer the application process, such other uses as are reasonably required in connection with the online application process, and for mandatory governmental reporting purposes. In this scope, upon your registration Henkel will collect the following information from you:
- Applicant Master Data (e.g. your first name, last name, etc.)
- Contact Data
- Application Data (e.g. your education information, certificates)
- CV Data
Fields which are indicated with an asterisk (*) mean that information is required. Without the information asked for in these fields, we cannot register you for our application tool. You are free to fill out the other fields if you wish. If you enter your data, we may use that information to contact you about any employment opportunity now and in the future. The information will not be used to inform you of any commercial activity of the company. With your application a general profile and a job application profile will be created. Your general profile contains general information such as name, telephone number and email address. Your job application profile contains in addition job specific information such as specific process details, prescreening results and your cover letter.
Operator & Access:
Your data is stored and processed by Henkel in a database which is operated by a hosting provider according to Henkel's instructions. Access to this database is granted only to parties who are involved in the recruitment process including external parties performing outsourced HR services for Henkel (e.g. telephone interviews, preselection, interviews, etc.) and who are bound by a confidential treatment of your data.
3rd Party Rights & Storage:
You may change the data of your application at any time in case it needs an update or a correction by logging into your profile page with your access data (candidate front-end). In such a case Henkel will keep the log information on all the changes, though, in order to be able to determine the implications of the change on the decision in the process.
You can delete your whole profile at any time if you are no longer interested in working opportunities at Henkel. You can log into your profile page with your access data (candidate front-end) and click on “delete”. Please note that if you delete your profile, you will no longer be considered for an open position or other job initiations. Your data will be deleted completely and irrevocably in accordance with the applicable laws.
Otherwise, your job application profile is deleted three months after the application process has been completed.
Besides of that your general profile and all related personal data is stored in encrypted form for 12 months (36 months for USA) after the application process has been completed to open up other career opportunities for you at Henkel. If you do not update your profile within a period of 11 months (35 months for the USA), Henkel may send you an e-mail to ask you to update your profile. If you apply for another job within this 12 months period, your profile will also be updated. If you do not update your profile by the given deadline, your profile and all of the person-related data it contains will be deleted. Only non-personal statistical data for reporting purposes remains in the system. Your profile is no longer searchable for potential job assignments.

Please also contact us this way, if you would like to know whether we have collected data about you and, if so, which data. We shall endeavor to comply with your wish immediately.
The application platform will place session cookies on your computer. Session Cookies are small text files that our website saves on your computer or mobile device if you use our website. It enables the website to remember your actions and preferences during your session, so you don't have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse from one page to another. The session cookie contains a randomly selected Session-ID. The placed cookies are mainly functional cookies.
